Angela Hryniuk has trained in
Tibetan Buddhism for fourteen years under the
guidance of Ven. Zasep Tulku Rinpoche. Some of
Angela’s teachers include His Holiness the
Dalai Lama and Khalka Jetsun Dampa of Mongolia.
She has done extensive deity and meditation retreats
both solo and in group and brings her personal
journey of recovery to her teaching. She is a
poet with three published books and a CD about
journeying to India on pilgrimage. She holds an
Interdisciplinary Masters degree in philosophy,
literature and religion and was the Coordinator
of the Spiritual Teaching of His Holiness the
Dalai Lama’s Vancouver visit.
Introduction to Buddhism and Meditation
(Part I and Part II)

The format of each evening is one of meditation,
teaching and discussion at a beginner’s
level. There will be a short teaching each week
interspersed with various types of meditations.
Topics to be discussed: the Four Noble Truths,
the Eight Fold Noble Path, attachment, desire,
anger, karma, reincarnation, lovingkindness, compassion,
wisdom and much more. Buddhism is a 2600 year
old philosophy and teaching that aids us in learning
how to have an enriched and fulfilling life, leading
to personal liberation.
